Use Guide

• Intended Use: SoftSnubber is intended to reduce strain on your Vessel's anchor windlass, soften shock loading on your anchor and chain, and make anchoring quieter. Always secure your anchor chain with a backup like a devil's claw.
• Inspection: Inspect your SoftSnubber and SoftShackles before every use for signs of chafe, wearing, fraying, rot, stretching, UV damage. Do not use a damaged line, as failure could lead to loss of property or life.
• Inspect and Eliminate rope chafe points including but not limited to: bow pulpits, anchor rollers and mounts, deck fittings, bow sprits, bob stays, and anchor locker drains.
• Proper Use: SoftSnubber is not intended for use towing, lifting heavy loads, or other non-Vessel anchoring activities.
• Avoid using SoftSnubber in areas with sharp rocks, coral, shells, debris, or other obstructions that could comprise the material's strength.
  
• Load Limits: Use appropriate gauge of 3-Strand Nylon SoftSnubber for your "Vessel parameters" (including length, displacement, beam, height, windage, and draft), and wind and tidal current conditions.
• Additional Equipment: Use appropriate anchor type and weight for prevailing bottom substrate and Vessel parameters and substantial length and gauge of anchor chain for Vessel parameters and adequate "scope".

User Instructions

• Deploy anchor and chain with adequate "scope" of 5:1 or greater and "Set" anchor firmly by thrusting in reverse gear.
• Firmly secure SoftSnubber to anchor chain with SoftShackle or other device and firmly secure SoftSnubber to bow pad eyes or bow cleats
  

Care Guide

• Hand wash SoftSnubber in bucket with mild soap and warm fresh water only. No harsh detergents, no bleach, no vinegar, and no power washing.
• Hang dry and store dry and dark for best performance and life expectancy.
